KINSHIP Digital proudly announces the release of KINTEL

Presenting the New Intelligence Frontier: See the shift – before the story

Canberra, 01 August 2025 — KINSHIP Digital is proud to announce the release of KINTEL, a next-generation capability layer designed to enhance open-source intelligence platforms and transform how teams detect, prioritise, and act on emerging digital signals.

Developed in partnership with the Australian Government, KINTEL was purpose-built to meet the demands of an increasingly volatile information environment, where proactive detections and analysis are critical. While many open-source intelligence tools, particularly in the social media space, rely on static inputs such as keyword queries or predefined parameters, KINTEL introduces a signal-based approach that autonomously surfaces emerging patterns, narratives, and storylines, enabling earlier and more adaptive insights.

The key challenge that our clients were facing was that legacy systems were limited by keyword-based detection. While still relevant, this approach constrained the proactive potential of OSINT.

With KINTEL, we’ve overcome that limitation, enabling the detection of evolving digital patterns beyond known phenomena and rigid parameters.
— Kaushal Sharma, Chief Technology Officer at KINSHIP Digital

KINTEL addresses the longstanding limitations across the open-source intelligence ecosystem, where insights have historically been reactive or used to validate known events. Rather than surfacing insights around a pre-identified topic, KINTEL empowers teams to shift toward forward-leading indicators, enabling earlier detection.

KINTEL’s use cases span a wide range of domains, from national security and public safety to policy development and strategic communications. The capability will be available for deployment from mid-August 2025
